iSkysoft FLV Converter is a free multi-format video converter. It allows you to open pretty much any modern video file and convert it to a variety of other formats, not only FLV. The supported input format list is huge, so I won't list them all. The application can convert those files to ASF, MOV, M4V, MP4, WMV, MKV, AVI, DV, MP4, and many many more.
iSkysoft FLV Converter has an excellent user interface. I love the color scheme and the way everything is placed on the main window. Another thing I like is the conversion profile list, particularly how well organized all the formats are. There are 5 categories: recent, common video, common audio, flash video (FLV), and user defined. If you go to "Common video" you will be able to convert files to the formats I listed above.
I was surprised to see that this converter allows you to convert files not only to FLV but to other formats as well. Seeing that this is a free converter, I was expecting limitations. I was able to convert files to MOV for example, with no problems at all.
All in all, this is a good converter, with a nice interface, and it is free.
